Event details

The distribution of porpoises in Danish waters is very well known.
New research shows that even within very small areas there are large differences in porpoise distribution and activity.
These studies give us insight into where porpoises prefer to hunt, socialize, where they avoid, and seasonal variations.
Marie Rebien Villefrance and Lukas Krag have studied porpoise distribution and activity in a small area north of the island of Hven in the Øresund.
In this talk, they will share their results, discussions, and what this knowledge can be used for in the future.

The lecture starts at 19:00.

A glass of wine is served with the lecture.

Program:

18:00: Feeding followed by a “behind the scenes” tour
